Accessibility Statement

FivePin Inc. is working to make www.fivepin.io usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, enlarge text, or rely on other assistive technology.

What we have done

These are the adjustments in place on this site today. Each one is something you can check rather than a general statement of intent.

  • The language of the site is declared, so screen readers pronounce the content correctly.
  • Every page has one main heading, and headings below it follow in order without skipping levels, so you can navigate by heading.
  • Images that carry meaning have alternative text. Images that are purely decorative are marked so assistive technology skips them.
  • A “Skip to main content” link is the first thing you reach with the keyboard, so you do not have to tab through the navigation on every page.
  • Everything you can click, you can also reach and operate with a keyboard, and whatever has focus shows a clear outline.
  • Links are underlined rather than shown only in a different color, so they are still identifiable if you do not distinguish colors easily.
  • The site follows your system setting for reduced motion, and adapts to light or dark mode, larger text sizes and small screens.

What we have not done yet

We would rather tell you where the gaps are than imply there are none.

  • This site has not been through a formal audit against a published standard, so we do not claim a WCAG conformance level. Saying what we have done is more useful than a grade nobody has measured.
  • This statement covers the website. It does not cover the ConfidIn app itself, which is a separate product with its own accessibility characteristics. If you are evaluating ConfidIn for a practice and need to know how it behaves with VoiceOver, larger text or other assistive features, please ask us directly and we will answer specifically.

If something on this site is hard or impossible to use, we want to hear about it. Email info@fivepin.io, or use the support form if that is easier.

It helps if you can tell us:

  • The page you were on, or a link to it
  • What you were trying to do
  • What happened instead
  • The browser, device or assistive technology you were using, if you know it

You do not need to know any of that to get in touch. A short note saying what went wrong is enough, and we will follow up with you.
